The Pravaha Application Process
The Pravaha Fellowship will select 50 exceptional candidates for its fully funded cohort. A two-stage selection process will assess their aptitude, motivation, and potential.
- Complete an online assessment covering reading comprehension, quantitative reasoning, communication, and personal motivation
- Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview in Patna, Delhi-NCR or online.

You're eligible if you have a bachelor's degree in any stream, from any college in India, and are between 21 and 28 years old. We don't require a specific subject background or work experience to apply.
Yes. For the founding cohort, the fellowship is fully funded including tuition and residential fee.
The Fellowship is one year long. The first cohort starts in August 2027 and ends in July 2028.
Yes, it's fully residential. You'll live on the Pravaha campus for the duration of the fellowship, in separate hostels for boys and girls, with safety, security, warden supervision, and food taken care of. You won't need to arrange your own accommodation or worry about your day-to-day logistics during the fellowship.
No prior knowledge is required. The fellowship is designed to start from the basics and build you up to a level where you're genuinely job-ready by the end.

You'll build capability across five areas: data, AI, design, business, and leadership. This happens through four curriculum cores over the year — Functional (economics, finance, data, accounting), Workplace (organisational behaviour, project management, communication), Personal (identity, writing, leadership, culture), and Experience (business fundamentals, marketing, operations, live industry projects).
It's hands-on by design. You'll build a financial model, run a real data analysis, lead a live project with an external organisation, write and edit a personal portfolio, and present your work to practitioners and employers at a public showcase. You don't need any prior background in data or AI — the fellowship starts from the basics.
The Fellowship is designed to end in a job/placement outcome for all interested Fellows. Our careers team will help you identify the correct role and organisation for you and will help you apply for multiple jobs. We will support you end to end in this process, from shortlisting opportunities, creating your resume, preparing for mock interviews and presentations, and introducing you to employers and hiring managers. Our aim is that Pravaha Fellows get roles that pay ₹10 lakh and above.
No, the application and the Fellowship are fully funded for the founding cohort.
You don't need to be fluent, but having basic English fluency is recommended. English communication and conversational confidence is one of the most important skills that you will work on during the Fellowship.
